Selecting a Class
Choose a time that is convenient to you and make yoga a regular part of your life! Each class has its own "personality." If a class does not suit you, please try another. Our teachers tailor classes to suit each individual's needs. Class Descriptions
Beginners / Yoga 1
An inspiring class for beginners and students who are new
to alignment based yoga. You’ll receive comprehensive guidance on the prep poses and
basic standing postures, the language of yoga, as well as correct use of props.
Meditation & Yoga
A balanced mind contributes to a balanced life. Daily meditation
can bring clarity, vitality and peace. In the first part of class, poses are practiced to prepare
the body for meditation. Through breath awareness, space is created for meditation, the
practice of silencing the mind to instill a sense of calm and contentment. This class is
appropriate for anyone regardless of yoga and meditation experience.
Mixed Level
Looking for a class that leaves you feeling energized and calm? Mixed
Level yoga classes offer a variety of asanas to build balance, strength and flexibility. Time
is devoted to meditation to create rejuvenation and centeredness. All levels welcome.
Pretzel Yoga: Kids & Parents
A safe, fun, constructive class for ages 5 to 10. The use of animated poses, yoga stories and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques help kids focus, relax and develop self-control. Classes also promotes inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem. Parents optional. Parents who do attend will be offered adult modifications for each pose.
Yoga 1
Standing poses and other fundamental postures are emphasized. Introductory
pranayamas (breathing exercises) are taught.
Yoga 1 -2
A continuation class of Yoga 1. Emphasis is placed on refining strength
and building endurance.
Yoga 2
For students with an understanding and integration of Level 1 postures.
Level 2 Students hold poses longer, explore them in greater depth, and are introduced
to the fundamentals of inversions and backbends.
Yoga 2-3
Continues Yoga 2 poses and adds the fundamentals of handstand,
headstand, and forearm balance. More challenging standing poses, back bends, and
seated poses are taught.
