"Teaching is a difficult art, but it is the best service you can do to humanity." ~B.K.S. Iyengar

As national interest in yoga continues to grow, the demand and the need for great yoga teachers and private yoga instructors is quickly expanding.  Take your practice and your passion to the next level by investing in yourself and your community by enrolling in our nationally recognized 200 Hour RYT Teacher Training program.

Under the direct guidance, supervision and instruction of Lynn Burgess MBA, RYT 500, E-RYT 500 as well as her dedicated staff of expert instructors you will receive a solid and comprehensive foundation in the art of teaching alignment-based yoga.

Lynn has trained, graduated and certified dozens of RYT 200 instructors.  Many of Lynn’s graduating students teach yoga locally at area gyms, YMCA’s, fitness centers, health and wellness studios as well as offering private instruction.  Her certified instructors regularly return to Yoga from the Heart to continue their yoga practice through Lynn’s Advanced Studies Workshops.  Chances are you’ve either practiced with or been instructed by a Lynn Burgess trained RYT 200 yoga teacher.  She is definitely a Teacher of teachers.

The study, experience and persistent practice of yoga asana are the cornerstone of our approach.

"Knowledge of yoga is no substitute for practice" ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

In addition to persistent practice, our program studies, explores and teaches:
Teaching Technique - Cueing and Class Management – Pose Modifications Proper Use of Props – Hands on Adjustments - Sequencing – Anatomy Philosophy – Meditation – Ethics and Business Basics

If you’ve ever imagined yourself touching lives, teaching yoga or would like to deepen your understanding of this ancient practice, then our 200 Hour RYT Teacher Training program may be for you.  In order to make our teaching program more available, more affordable and more obtainable, it is now being offered in four / quarterly 50 hour modules.  Enroll in one 50 hour module at a time and accumulate hours at your pace, your convenience, in your time or sign up for the complete program and immerse yourself in the practice.

The four separate modules span a twelve month period.  Classes meet one weekend per month beginning on Friday evenings and ending on Sunday afternoons.  Each quarter focuses on a specific group of poses, analyzing in-depth the art of practicing and teaching these poses safely and effectively.
